Our Vision: To be a science-based foundation acting as a bridge between conservation, research, education, and field practice in maintaining and nurturing Indonesia's biological life sustainably based on ecological policies.

Who We Are

WIBINUSA (Yayasan Wiyata Biodiversitas Nusantara) is a professional NGO dedicated to advancing scientific study and ecological stewardship across Indonesia.

We provide a collaborative platform for researchers, conservation practitioners, and communities to work together in protecting biodiversity. Our purpose is to develop integrated scientific knowledge that safeguards Indonesia’s biological life and ecosystems in a sustainable way.

Through rigorous research, inclusive collaboration, and a commitment to long-term ecological balance, WIBINUSA strives to ensure that the richness of Indonesia’s flora, fauna, and environments continues to thrive for generations to come.

Our Mission:

  1. Safeguard threatened species and restored ecosystems through science-based conservation and community empowerment.

  2. Strengthen scientific studies in biodiversity, ecology, and environmental management to guide effective action.

  3. Build capacity through education, training, and knowledge dissemination, inspiring communities and future generations.

  4. Apply research results in tangible conservation, restoration, and sustainable management initiatives.

  5. Unite educational institutions, research bodies, government, private sector, and communities in shared stewardship of biodiversity.
